It is truly shocking to learn of the terrorist attack on pedestrians which took place in the early hours of today outside the Muslim Welfare House at Finsbury Park.

"We wish to firmly re-iterate that we should not allow these acts of violence, voices of bigotry, fear and hatred to divide us. Certainly this will deny victory to these evil persons and their ideologies."

"The World Federations, its membership and indeed the entire Khoja community condemn such acts of barbarity in the strongest possible terms and we offer our condolences to the families of those brutally murdered."

On Saturday 11th March, the Al Mahdi Madrasah and the Muslim community of Fareham ( Wessex Jamaat) led by Sheikh Fazle Abbas Datoo, the Imam /Resident Scholar had the honour of hosting the Mayor of Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Connie Hockley.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the suicide bombing at Manchester arena which took place on Monday 22nd May, 2017.

Wessex Jamaat annually hosts students from the University of Chichester, undertaking Teacher Education and Religious studies, to the ‘Know your Muslim Neighbour’ event.
