The A B C D of Contemplating on the Qur'an: A Practical Guide

REGISTRATION CLOSED - MODULE FULLY BOOKED

Summary

This interactive module presents a four step practical guide to contemplating on the verses of the Qur’an. The guide is comprehensive in that it starts with what should be done before one even opens the Qur’an and ends with suggestions for moving forward after one has closed it. The steps are easily remembered by using the simple mnemonic of A B C D, whereby each of these letters stands for the first word of each step. The module examines in depth both the theoretical foundations and the practical application of contemplating on the verses the Qur’an, and it also explores the merits and limitations of some recently developed methods.
