Salamun alaykum,
Alhamdulillah we continue offering abundant of shukr thanks giving to Allah SWT for the gift of life and granting us another opportunity of performing azadari. The Muharram Children's Azadari for the young people of our community was well received by the children. Thank you dear parents for encouraging your child /ren to attend and take part in various activities of this special online programme. Positive feedback has been received.
‘We Love Husayn.’ was the overall theme for the Azadari session. Through this, topics such as need to love Imam Husayn a.s., How to do so and what are its benefits were explored. MashAllah the young people of our community prepared Marthiya, Youth points, Kahoot Quiz and Matam. In addition special slots for craft and group activity was included. Children were actively involved in presenting and participating during the majlis.
As an activity for expressing the Majlis theme the children prepared some art work to reflect this theme or anything that links to or reminds them of Imam Husayn a.s. Thereafter in the majlis session they had an opportunity to show and tell about the art work done on ‘We love Husayn.’ And their Azadari corner at home. MashAllah I have seen some really wonderful and touching pieces prepared by the children. May these efforts be abundantly rewarded by Allah SWT.
