Boys and girls from 1st Whiteley Cubs visited the Wessex Jamaat on 15th May, 2018 to help them earn their World Faith activities badge. They were given a tour of Al Mahdi Centre to learn about how the local Muslim community worships and how the centre is designed to be sustainable.
Cub Scout leader Liz Thompson said: "Cubs were awarded their World Faith badge by the Imam, Sheikh Fazle Abbas, which was a real honour.
"Our hosts could not have been more friendly and welcoming - it was an enlightening and fascinating evening which the Cubs and leaders thoroughly enjoyed.
"We would like to extend our thanks to Al Mahdi Centre for this wonderful opportunity."
