أَعظَمَ اللهُ أُجُورَنا و أُجُورَكُم بِمُصابِنا بِالحُسَين ع
May Allah make our and your reward great for our mourning for Imam al-Husayn (as)
There is none who recites poetry about Husain (A.S.) and weeps and makes others weep by means of it, except that Allah makes Paradise incumbent upon him and forgives his sins.

Salamun alaykum,
We are now drawing close to the auspicious day of Arba’een, the pinnacle of azadari. Every year, thousands of individuals from all over the globe travel to Karbala during this time to perform the ziyarah for Aba Abdillah Imam Husayn a.s. Sadly, this year, due to the global pandemic, we are unable to visit Karbala and pay our homage to the martyrs of Karbala. However we continue to adapt to keep alight the flame of azadari and strengthen our connection to Imam Husayn a.s. for our children and ourselves.
To observe Arba’een, Al Mahdi Madrasah is arranging special majlis programme for children on Friday 9th October, 2020 ( 21st Safar, 1442 A.H. ) from 5:15pm. Parents are requested to encourage their children to attend and take part in this online Arba’een majlis programme. The overall theme for the Azadari session is ‘We Love Husayn.’ The children can participate by reciting marthiyya, nawha, short talk / majlis, poem, powerpoint presentation or any other suitable activity that conveys the message of Arba’een.

4. Topic and estimated time duration
The final date for registering presentation by your child is Monday 5th October, 2020. Your child may prepare for more than one activity. On the day of majlis priority will be given to presentations that relate to Arba’een. Enroll your child even if they would like to attend without doing any recitations or presentation in the Majlis programme.
May the participation by our children be accepted by Allah (SWT) and become a source of pleasure for Sayyida Fatima (A.S.) InshaAllah.
