Request for suggestions Muharram 1441 A.H. Activity for Children's Majlis August, 2020

Salamun Alaykum all,

Pray that you and family are well.

We will soon be witnessing the Ayyame Aza with the commencement of Muharram, InshAllah.

May Allah SWT grant us all life, good health and tawfiq to be able to participate in the azadari of Aba Abdillah a.s. and the martyrs of Karbala.

During the Ashrae Muharram the practice has been to arrange special majlis programmes for the children instead of the normal Madrasah day. As the health and safety of our community is the highest priority, it seems that so far, we may not be able to physically have the special Azadari programmes for children at al Mahdi Centre due to the current circumstances and the required precautionary measures.

Whilst our doors at al Mahdi are closed physically; this does not mean that as a community, at Jamaat or Madrasah level the Azadari by children be left out. Bihamdillah the delivery of various online programmes has been well received. Therefore, in our lives, through the forthcoming Ayyame Aza, Allah SWT is providing us with an opportunity to keep alight the flame of azadari amongst our children. Let us take advantage of this gift of life and utilize this opportunity in service of the bereaved mother Sayyida Fatima al Zahra a.s.

The month of Muharram is expected to commence from Friday 21st August and we would like to arrange special online programmes for our children where they ‘attend’ and take part in delivering the azadari.  In order to arrange suitable programmes I would like to hear your suggestions with regard to the modality of the programmes. Therefore, kindly complete this consultation form

https://forms.gle/eQziVnuvQxknurDa7

Could you kindly respond latest by Saturday 1st August, 2020.

Your input will contribute towards promoting azadari in our children during these unusual times. This will be a service to Aba Abdillah a.s., InshAllah.

Shukran.

With salams and duas,
