Invitation for ‘Meet your Muslim Neighbour’ Friday 5th April 2019

Salamun alaykum,

‘Meet your Muslim Neighbour’ Friday 5th April, 2019:

Wessex Jamaat will be hosting members of the International Ecumenical Fellowship at a ‘Meet Your Muslim Neighbour’ event from 7:30pm to 9:00pm. The International Ecumenical Fellowship (IEF) is a community of grassroots Christians from different countries and traditions, who work towards Christian Unit across denominations through prayer, theological study, discipleship and friendship. As part of their 3-day AGM, we will be hosting them here at the Al Mahdi Centre on Friday the 5th April at 7.30pm.

All community members are requested to join us on this date, to welcome these guests to our community and to participate in small group discussions.

We kindly request that Mu’mineen interested in attending please inform Sheikh Fazleabbas by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by 31st March, 2019. Sheikh will also be able to provide further information if required.

Muminin are requested to support in preparing for the event, attending and assisting on the day of the visit. The task areas include : Venue arrangement, Welcome /Reception, participation in the round table discussions, Serving, Clearing, Cleaning, Re-arranging furniture, Compiling report /story of the visit and other related duties.

If you would like to contribute towards Meals / Refreshment or are able to volunteer to serve in any way for the above event request you to kindly confirm your interest.

Your participation in this project will InshAllah be a valuable service of tableegh of Islam and help build relationships across faiths.
