Boost Your Love for the Noble Prophet (saw)

Expressions of Joy and Gratitude:

Across the globe, Muslims celebrated the blessed occasion of Meeladun Nabi during the previous month of Rabi’ ul Awwal, the month in which Rasulallah- the Messenger of Allah- graced this world. The birth of Nabi Muhammad Mustafa SAWW, the chosen messenger of Allah SWT, is certainly a Divine blessing bestowed upon all believers and mankind.

In every corner of the world gatherings to honour and celebrate this auspicious event of Meeladun Nabi were organized. Men, women and children participated in a variety of programmes ranging from na’at/ qasida recitations (poem of praise), lectures, processions, fund raising for charity, volunteering services, presenting donations, competitions in various skills and sporting events. Each of these activities reflected the joy, gratitude and admiration that Muslims hold for that great personality of Rasulallah, the best among all creations. Undoubtedly, it is nothing but our absolute love for Rasulallah that motivates these celebrations. We are humbled to be his followers; the Muslim Ummah. Certainly, we deeply love Nabi Muhammad Mustafa SAWW.

True love for Rasulallah:

However, the Prophet himself reminded us that love must be more than mere words or outward expressions. He said, “None of you is a believer until you love me more than your children, parents and everyone else”

True love for the Prophet is not limited to poetry, celebrations, or speeches in Meeladun Nabi Celebrations. It is demonstrated most authentically through following his example. As Allah SWT declares in the Quran:
“Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah there is for you an excellent exemplar…” (Sura al-Ahzab 33:21)

The Noble Prophet is the best role model for every aspect of our lives, and genuine love for him is reflected in our commitment to live by his teachings.

The Prophet’s Greatest Legacy:

The Prophet declared in his famous Thaqalayn tradition, “I leave behind for you thaqalayn (two weighty trusts): the Book of Allah and my Ahlulbayt. If you hold firmly to them, you will never go astray after me.”

This hadith reminds us that love for the Prophet must be lived out through holding fast to the Quran and the Ahlulbayt; both are inseparable.

Connecting with the Quran:

A great form of reverence for Rasulallah is to pick the Noble Quran and read it. Simply opening the Quran and reciting its verses is an act of devotion to Rasulallah. Thus, being obedient to his instruction:
“It is absolutely obligatory and a must for you to remain in contact with the Noble Quran because it is a beneficial healing and a bountiful remedy. The Book is the protector of one who follows its commands. It gives salvation to one who obeys it.” Noble Prophet s.a.w.w.

Therefore, to truly love Rasulallah we must engage deeply with his greatest legacy—Quran al Karim – the Noble Quran. It means embracing the Quran as our guide. To read, understand, and live by the Quran is the ultimate expression of love for the Prophet.

Distress the accursed Shaytan!

“Nothing is harder for Shaytan to bear than a person who recites the Quran while looking into its pages.”
Boost Your Love for the Prophet:

• Do you dedicate time each day to reciting the Quran?
• Do you reflect on its meanings and strive to live by its commands?
• Do you read the Noble Quran infront of your children and encourage them too, to read it every day?

Let us demonstrate true love for the Prophet by following his example and making the Noble Quran a living part of our lives.
Wa ma tawfiqi illa billah
