Is mourning harmful to the deceased?

Part 2: Response from historical perspective:

“In the Messenger of Allah there is certainly for you an excellent model..” Sura al Ahzaab 33:21.

Noble Prophet deeply mourns over the martyrdom of his beloved uncle Sayyidna Hamza, a martyr in the battle of Uhud, Shawwaal 3 A.H. Some 7/8 years after the martyrdom when the Noble Prophet passed by Uhud, he cried mourning like Sayyidna Hamza had just passed away.
At the passing away of his son Ibrahim, the Noble Prophet bade farewell shedding tears and grieving over his death.
Incident of Umu Salamah witnessing the prophet disheveled and mourning after the visit by Jibrail who foretold to him the tragedy of Karbala.
Why do we mourn? For Mustafa, the Prophet SAWW too cried. Therefore is not our mourning an aspect of emulating our role model as instructed in Sura al Ahzaab 33:21? Is this not a sunnah-tradition- of the Noble Prophet as manifested by qawl-speech- and f’il- deed? Then how can mourning cause harm to either the one mourning or the deceased?

Therefore, similar to the narrations glorifying celebrations on the day of Ashura, such narrations prohibiting mourning are typical examples of the propaganda machinery of the Banu Umayya fabricating hadith with main motive to prevent relay of the tragedy of Karbala?

Be on guard for such influences. Certainly Azadari is one of the essential pillars that has broadcast the tragedy of Karbala, kept alive the original message of Islam and indeed sustained us as Shias.

Reward for morning over Aba Abdillah:

The eye shall not weep on the day of judgement and will be relieved due glad tidings of Jannah.
Gift of prayers for mercy to be showered upon one who sheds tears, whose heart becomes restless and blistered over the tragedy.
Faces will be forbidden from the fire of hell.

“The breath of one who is aggrieved upon the injustice and oppression subjected to us is tasbih and ones grief for us ibadah….” Imam J’afar AS Sadiq A.S.
Thus the letting out of a sigh, displaying a mournful expression, being sad, bowing down head inn sadness, slap on the thighs….any gesture amounting to the sadness secures reward of tasbih.(glorification of Allah SWT)

Shouldn’t it effect the heart of a believer, a shia of Ahlul Bayt ?
When majlis is arranged we are presenting our condolences in the presence of Imam Sahibaz Zaman A.F. and Ahlul Bayt A.S. Do not stare with the eyes wide open, blank and dry. Listen to the tragedy being narrated. Listen to it with the ears of the heart, Let the emotions flow. Bid your children too to put on expression of mourning by bowing the head, placing handkerchief over the face.. thus training them in the practice of Azadari resulting to achieving the lofty rewards for this noble deed of ibadah.

May Allah SWT, by wasila of Ahlul Bayt a.s. increase our tawfiqat to perform azadari resulting to hold steadfast onto the thaqalayn : Quran and Ahlul Bayt. AAMIN
