Pray that you and your families are in good health. Heartiest felicitations on wiladat of Amiral Mumineen Imam Ali bin Abi Talib a.s. Abundant gratitude to Allah SWT for enabling us to hold steadfast to the wilayah of Amiral Mumineen a.s.
Madrasah timetable for the Late Spring Term (Academic Year 2020/21) which is commencing from tomorrow Saturday 27th February, 2021, InshAllah can be found here.
Due to the Covid pandemic situation we will continue delivering all the Madrasah sessions through Online platform.
Note the following:
- Last day of this term: 27th March, 2021.
- Easter break: No Madrasah on 3rd,10th and 17th April, 2021.
- Shahru Ramadhan: As it is expected to commence from 13th /14th April, 2021, there will be no Madrasah Tarbiyah session from 17th April to 15th May, 2021.
- Madrasah resumes for Summer term on 22nd May, 2021
- Last day of Madrasah Summer Term will be on 24th July. 2021.
Madrasah fees:
Note that the fees is a contribution by parent towards the costs of Madrasah operations. The monthly fees being charged by Wessex Jamaat is £15.00 per child. Standing order payments should be made to Wessex Jamaat account:

The amount due for this year is £180 (15 x 12 months). You are requested to pay the fees on time. Parents with outstanding fees are requested to settle the arrears. If you need any support towards payment of fees then you are welcome to speak in confidence to me.
Unable to log in / lesson queries:
If you or your child are unable to log in for the lesson or have any queries related to the Madrasah lessons, then please contact the head of the class your child is in. Some parents have contacted me on Saturday just as the Madrasah commences and regrettably I have not been able to support due to lack of complete information by the parent regarding the child’s class. It is essential that you are aware of the class your child/ren are in, the teachers names and their contact details.
We need Pre-loved books for al Mahdi Library:
Our Madrasah is in the process of setting up a library at the Al Mahdi Centre, for use when we resume on-site programmes. The library will be utilized by the children and all community members. To expand the present collection in the library, we are requesting book donations. If you would like to donate suitable books on Islam, either new books or in good pre-loved condition, then kindly register the book titles you would like to donate at the below link:

Thereafter the books which we require will be selected from your list and you will be informed about the delivery arrangements. Kindly DO NOT drop off any books at the Centre. We will contact you in due course to confirm the delivery arrangements such as dates and times, as well as to relay any other information. We would be grateful for your contribution of books.
Announcement of results: Dar Al Zahra Courtyard Design Competition:
We are pleased that Nine entries were received for this competition. Much thought has been put by all the participants and the standard of the work is wonderful and amazing, MashAllah. The assessment of entries by a panel of judges is ongoing. Look out for announcement of the results at Wessex Jamaat event to celebrate wiladat of Imam Husayn a.s., Abul Fadhl Abbas and Imam Zaynul Abideen a.s. to be held on 17th March, 2021.
Let’s continue to offer special prayers to Allah SWT, by wasila of Ahlul Bayt a.s. for protection of all from the epidemic due to the COVID-19 virus and for the cure of all who are unwell. May you and your loved ones be granted safety from all calamities.
