Summary of Events - Bibi Fatima's Khushali
On Tuesday 24th May 2011, 20th Jamadil Akhar 1432 A.H, on the Wiladat of Sayyeda Fatima (A.S)- The Lady of· Light,· AFRA· Mother’s Day Khushali Special Event took place at the Al-Mahdi Centre.· The ladies and gents halls were decorated with balloons, flower arrangements, celebration lightings, and the atmosphere was truly ceremonial!
After the main programme, the final raffle was drawn by our Resident Alim, Sheikh Fazle Abbas, and the lucky winner was one of our Madrasah teachers, Aunty Nilofar, who won a basket of cosmetics worth over £150! We would like to thank the Moledina family for donating the basket.
AFRA, the 
Al-Mahdi Fundraising Appeal Team run by Madrasah Students, also held other fundraising events in the ladies and gents which included flower, deserts and mandazi sales.· The mini-stalls were buzzing with people buying and selling the deserts, flowers etc. Indeed, it was a very bright and cheerful evening!
The AFRA Team would like to thank all those who kindly volunteered to help with the food, flowers and by supporting the event to be a success.· Alhamdulillah, with your help we have raised £312.11 in total.
