Helpless life of deceased person:

"On every Friday night - laylatul jum'ah - the soul of the deceased descends on earth to the homes and call out with forlon voices: O people of my house! May Allah bless you. Have mercy upon us. Whatever we have done in this world, we are facing its consequences now, while the fruits of our toil is being enjoyed by others. Be kind to me: Favour us by giving on our behalf a dirham or bread or clothes so that Allah may reward you with heavenly attire.." Noble Prophet SAWW.

Thus our practice of undertaking deeds with the intention of Isale Thwab.
Thawab: Reward, compensation
Isal: Remit, Transfer, Deliver.

"Surely a deceased person rejoices when kindness is shown to him and forgiveness is sought for him." Noble Prophet SAWW.

Examples of deeds for Isal thawab fior deceased:
1. At -Tarahhum: Showing mercy, kindness
2. Sadaqa
3. Salat: hadiya mayyit, Wahsha, walidayn, Nafila
4. Dua: Salawat, Tasbih SAyyida Fatima and others
5. Istighfar
6. Virtuous child
7. Leaving knowledge beneficial to others
8. Sadqa Jariyah: Deeds of perpetual reward.

"Whoever from among Muslims performs a good deed /act for a deceased person, allah increases the reward for him manifold and also makes the deceased benefit from the same."

Wa ma tawfiqi illa billah
