Salamun Alaykum,
Shahru Ramadhan Mubarak May Allah SWT abundantly shower us all with His choicest blessings and mercy during this blessed month of Divine hospitality.
Recommended salah for the nights of Shahru Ramadan
It is recommended that in each night of the month of Ramadhan two rakat salah is recited in the following manner :
Niyyah : I pray two rakat salah for the night of Ramadhan Sunnat qurbatan ilal laah (to seek nearness to Allah)
In every rakaat after the recitation of Suratul Fatiha recite Sura Al Ikhlas ( Qul huwallaahu ahad ) three times. After completing the salah say:
- SUBHANA MAN HUWA HAFIDHUN LA YAGHFULU, SUBHANA MAN HUWA RAHIMUN LA YA’ – JALU, SUBHANA MAN HUWA QAA – IMUN LA YAS – HU, SUBHANA MAN HUWA DAA– IMUN LA YALHU
- Recite Tasbihatul ‘arba 7 times :SUBHANALLAHI WAL HAMDULILLAHI WA LA ILAHA ILLALLAHU WALLAHU AKBAR (Glory be to Allah, (all) praise belongs to Allah, there is no god save Allah, and Allah is the greatest)
- then say: SUBHANAKA, SUBHANAKA, SUBHANAKA, YA A’DHIMU IGHFIRLIYAD DHANMBAL ADHIM (Glory be to You, Glory be to You, Glory be to You ,O the Mighty , forgive my sins , (all) –the major sins)
- Complete with reciting 10 times salawat :ALLAHUMMA SALLI A’LA MUHAMMADIN WA AALI MUHAMMAD (O ALLAH SEND BLESSINGS ON MUHAMMAD AND ON HIS AHLUL BAYT)
Benefit : Allah forgives 70 000 wrong doings for one who performs this recommendation.
