Wessex Jamaat- Muharram Food Drive‏

Dear Momineen,

Salaam Alykum.

I invite you to share the message of Imam Hussein (AS) with the local homeless shelter. This is our opportunity to take the message of Imam Hussein (AS) to those out there who probably have not heard his name.

The opportunity of doing a food drive is one way we can take this message out there and share with others that Islam is a faith where people are either your brothers in Eimaan or your brothers in Humanity.

Our target is to collect 5000 cans of food/non perishable items. Our current total is 255.

Items that you can bring include: Teabags, Pasta, Cereal Boxes, Spaghetti, Coffee, Cans of Fruit, Soup, Soup Sachets, Tinned Custard etc.

Kindly avoid bringing glass jars.

A collection pot will be going around after majlis every evening if you would like to give a donation. If you would like to donate by cheque, please make it payable to 'Wessex Jamaat'. Alternatively, you can donate online at the almahdi website.
